Files Included

Four SVG files are included in this package. Each represents the final held frame of its animation with all elements fully visible and styled.

File Description
TSS_Intro_Final.svg Intro animation — full Amplify background, 4 text layers
TSS_Outro_Final.svg Outro animation — full Amplify background, 4 text layers
TSS_LowerThird_Host.svg Lower third host (Ali Mesdaq) — black background for Multiply key
TSS_LowerThird_Guest.svg Lower third guest (Marlo Custodio) — black background for Multiply key
Compositing Note

Lower third files (Host + Guest) use a pure black (#000000) background. In Premiere or After Effects set the layer blend mode to Multiply — black drops out completely and the graphics composite cleanly over footage.

Intro and Outro files include the full Amplify branded background. Place directly on the timeline — no keying required.

SVG → Illustrator → .AI

Follow these steps for each SVG file. The goal is to separate every element into its own named layer so After Effects can animate them independently.

Step 01
Open the SVG

Launch Illustrator and go to File → Open. Select your SVG file. Illustrator imports it with all elements grouped under a single top-level layer.

Step 02
Release to Layers

This converts all top-level groups into individual layers — one per animated element.

Open the Layers panel: Window → Layers
Select the main top-level layer containing all artwork
Click the hamburger menu (☰) in the top-right corner of the Layers panel
Select Release to Layers (Sequence)
Each named group becomes its own layer (sys-tag, title-line1, subtitle…)
Step 03
Ungroup if Necessary

If elements are still grouped, select everything (Cmd+A) and go to Object → Ungroup. Repeat until all elements are separated in the Layers panel.

Step 04
Reorganize & Rename Layers

Drag all sub-layers out of the original parent so they sit at the top level independently. Delete the empty parent layer. Rename each layer clearly.

Hold Shift and select all sub-layers
Drag them out of the parent to the top level of the Layers panel
Delete the now-empty parent layer
Rename each layer to match its element (sys-tag, title-line1, subtitle, etc.)
Step 05
Save as .AI

File → Save As → choose Adobe Illustrator (*.AI) as the file format.

In the Illustrator Options dialog, check "Create PDF Compatible File"
Leave all other settings at default
Save to your project folder
